 | | Dean Nolen | Broadway veteran Dean Nolen will play Antonio Salieri and Drew Hirschfield will play Wolfgang Mozart in the Wilma Theater's production of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus, to run September 19-October 27. The production will directed by Jiri Zizka.
The play focuses on the rivalry between Salieri, an envious court composer, and the young Mozart. The show's 1980 Broadway production won five Tony Awards, including Best Play; Milos Forman's 1984 film version won eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
The cast will also feature Mary Rasmussen, Jered McLenigan, Peter Pryor, Christian Kauffman, H. Michael Walls, Richmond Hoxie, Richard Lieb, Rober Bauer, Michelle Horman, Steve Hyams, Ben Kramer, Alyssa Kondraki, Ethan Lipkin, Megan McDermott, Karyn Osinski, and Josh Totora.
