The Roundabout Theatre Company will present a revival of Bob Fosse's Dancin' at Broadway's Studio 54, with previews set to begin on April 17 and an official opening slated for May 5. The revival will be directed by Graciela Daniele, with Ann Reinking and Nicole Fosse as creative consultants, and Kathryn Doby recreating the original Fosse choreography. A national tour will follow in the fall of 2009. Casting will be announced shortly.

In Dancin' which was first produced on Broadway in 1978, Fosse set out to create a tribute to the art of dance, drawing inspiration from popular culture and various types of music and movement. The score is comprised of a wide variety of styles including operetta, jazz, classical, and recording artists such as Neil Diamond and Cat Stevens.

The creative team will include original members Peter Larkin (sets), Willa Kim (costumes), Jules Fisher (lights and projections), along with new member Jonathan Deans (sound).

Daniele is a multiple Tony Award nominee for the shows Ragtime, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, The Goodbye Girl, Once on This Island, Dangerous Games, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Rink, and The Pirates of Penzance. Her recent credits include The Glorious Ones and The Pirate Queen.
