Burns, Clark, Latessa, Uggams, White, et al. to Appear at Barnes & Noble

More than a dozen Broadway stars, including Tony Award winners Victoria Clark, Dick Latessa, Maryann Plunkett, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Leslie Uggams, and Lillias White will appear at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle in November.

The month kicks off with The Voices of Broadway, a three-night event saluting new recordings by PS Classics. On Tuesday, November 6 at 5:30pm, Clark will perform selections from 15 Seconds of Grace; on Wednesday, November 7 at 5:30pm, Andrea Burns will perform selections from A Deeper Shade of Red, and at 5:30pm on Thursday, November 8, Lauren Kennedy will perform selections from Here and Now.

Moving ahead, pianist Simone Dinnerstein will perform Bach's "Goldberg Variations" and discuss her art with Robin Quivers on Sunday, November 11 at 3pm; Light in the Piazza star David Burnham will share songs from his new self-titled CD at 6pm on Wednesday, November 14; Santiago-Hudson and Uggams will join Stephen McKinley Henderson and Michele Shay for readings of excerpts from August Wilson: The Century Cycle at 3pm on Saturday, November 17.

The following week, cabaret star Andrea Marcovicci will be joined by Anna Bergman, Barbara Brussell, and Jeff Harnar for a program of Rodgers & Hart and Kurt Weil on Tuesday, November 20 at 5:30pm, and BJ Crosby will perform selections from her new CD, Beat of Your Heart, on Wednesday, November 21 at 6pm.

As the month concludes, Latessa, Plunkett, and White will be on hand to perform selections from the Hanukkah musical The Odd Potato on Monday, November 28 at 7pm; up-and-coming cabaret singers Julie Esposito, Barbara Lusch, and Lou Watson will perform on Wednesday, November 28 at 6pm, followed by a presentation by author Brian Kellow of his new book, Ethel Merman: A Life with theater stars Beth Fowler and Kristine Zbornik at 7pm.
