in Legally Blonde

Blake, Christian Borle, Orfeh, Michael Rupert, Kate Shindle, and Nikki Snelson have all extended their contracts in the Broadway musical Legally Blonde through June 2008. The show began performances at the Palace Theater on April 3, with an official opening on April 29.
The musical, which is based on the popular 2001 movie, is about Elle Woods (Bundy), a determined if seemingly ditzy college student who decides to become the first member of her sorority to attend Harvard Law School.
The show is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, and has a score by Nell Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe, and a book by Heather Hach. The production features set design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller, sound design by ACME Sound Partners, and music direction by James Sampliner.
The cast also features Haven Burton, Tracy Jai Edwards, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Natalie Joy Johnson, Nathan Balser, April Berry, Paul Canaan, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, Cara Cooper, Beth Curry, Amber Efé, Gaelen Gilliland, Jason Gillman, Becky Gulsvig, Rod Harrelson, Manuel Herrera, Andy Karl, Nick Kenkel, Michelle Kittrell, Rusty Mowery, Kevin Pariseau, Matthew Risch, Bryce Ryness, and Kate Wetherhead.
