The full cast and creative team have been announced for the Signature Theater's production of John Kander and Fred Ebb's musical The Happy Time, April 1-June 1. As previously announced, George Dvorsky, David Margulies, and Michael Minarik will headline the production, which will be directed by Michael Ungar.

Originally seen on Broadway in 1968, starring Robert Goulet, the musical tells the story of Jacques Bonnard (Minarik), a world-famous photographer who returns home to his small French-Canadian town in search of happiness, and tempts his young godson with dreams of escape.

The cast will also include Jace Casey, Tracy Lynn Olivera, Rob McQuay, Carrie A. Johnson, and Amy McWilliams; William Beech, Rafael Hernandez-Roulet, Jordan Moral, Matthew Nee, and Jordan Silver will play the schoolboys; and performing in the ensemble are Kate Arnold, Emily Levey, Lauren Williams, and Rachel Zampelli.

The creative team will include Karma Camp (choreography), Kathleen Geldard (costume design), David Holcenberg (music direction), Todd Edward Ivins (set/projection design), Mark Lanks (lighting design), and Matt Rowe (sound design). The production is part of the theater's four-month-long Kander & Ebb Celebration, which also includes productions of Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Visit, and Karen Akers' First You Dream: The Songs of Kander & Ebb.
