The season will open with a limited engagement of Sandra Bernhard's Without You I'm Nothing, September 9-28, a fusion of satire, cabaret, and rock 'n' roll. It will continue with Honey Brown Eyes, October 22-November 30, a world premiere production of Stefanie Zadravec's play about Bosnia in 1992 and the unlikely partnerships that emerge amid the horror and the humanity; Sholom Aleichem: Laughter Through Tears, December 17-January 11, written and performed by Theodore Bikel, and Iris Bahr's solo play Dai (Enough), January 14-18, set in the colorful world of a Tel Aviv café only minutes before a terrible calamity.
The season continues with Hillel Mitelpunkt's The Accident, February 4-March 8, which centers around a fatal accident on New Years Eve that leaves a Chinese immigrant dead on the road. Up next will be Plonter (Tangle), March 14-29, co-written and directed by Yael Ronen; Sam Forman's play The Rise and Fall of Annie Hall, April 16-May 24, which follows librettist Henry Blume and his tireless search to secure the rights to Woody Allen's most famous film; and The Seagull on 16th Street, and adaptation of Anton Chekhov's classic by Ari Roth, June 17-July 19.
