Drayton, Green, Hendryx, Pevec, Ripley Set for L.A. Tommy

Complete principal casting and creative team has been announced for the new production of The Who's Tommy, to run June 18-29 at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood. The production, which will open officially on June 20, will be directed by Brian Purcell, with choreography by Denise Leitner and musical direction by Dan Redfield.

The cast will feature Alice Ripley as Mrs. Walker, Jenna Leigh Green as Sally Simpson, Nona Hendrix as the Acid Queen, Aleks Pevec as Tommy, Tom Schmid as Captain Walker, Hank Adams as Uncle Ernie, PJ Griffith as Cousin Kevin, and Ronny Drayton as The Hawker.

The creative team will include Brodie Anne Steele (sets), Vandy Scoates (costumes), Jared A. Sayeg (lighting), and John James Hickey (fight direction). The show will feature special high-definition 3D sound, presented by EXP3D, with audience members wearing special headphones.
