Robert Petkoff will join the Broadway company of Monty Python's Spamalot in multiple roles, including Sir Robin, on Tuesday, May 6. He succeeds Clay Aiken.
Petkoff played Perchik in the recent Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof and has appeared in the national tour of Spamalot, among other credits.
Monty Python's Spamalot has a book by Eric Idle and a score by Eric Idle and John DuPrez. It is directed by Mike Nichols, with choreography by Casey Nicholaw. The show won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The show currently stars Jonathan Hadary, Hannah Waddingham, Tom Deckman, Rick Holmes, David Hibbard, Bradley Dean, and Steve Rosen.
