Casting has been announced for Joe DiPietro's new play, F***king Men, which will make its world premiere at London's Finborough Theatre May 14-June 7. Phil Willmott will direct.

This freewheeling, contemporary take on Schnitzler's La Ronde follows a succession of couples and strangers as they negotiate the before and after of lust, love and betrayal.

The cast will include Scott Capurro, Guy Fearon, Morgan James, Nicholas Keith, James Kristian, Timothy Lone, Shai Metuki, Chris Polick, Patrick Poletti, and Adam Unze.

DiPietro is best known for writing the book and lyrics for I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and will be represented on Broadway next season with the new Gershwin musical Nice Work If You Can Get It, starring Harry Connick, Jr. He has written two new musicals with David Bryan of Bon Jovi: Memphis and The Toxic Avenger , and is also the author of The Thing About Men, All Shook Up, and Over the River and Through the Woods.

The brilliance of Joe DiPietro
Posted on 06/09/2008 at 2:49PM by Chillin
The amazing way Joe uses the English language to convey such works of art is still baffling, even to those close to him, and a thrill to see on stage. Timeless songs and and witty dialog make this and any of his plays WELL WORTH SEEING! You will be amazed by his talents and find yourself singing his songs weeks after leaving the theater! Joe DiPietro is an asset to both Broadway and Off Broadway and we will hopefully be seeing lots more from this charming and very talented playwrite!
