Carrie Manolakos to Join Broadway's Mamma Mia! on June 4

The musical, based on the songs of ABBA, follows the story of a forty-something mother planning her daughter's wedding -- unaware that the girl has invited three men who might be her father.

In addition to playing Sophie in the show's national tour, Manolakos has starred in regional productions of The Who's Tommy, The WIld Party, and The Wizard of Oz.

The Broadway production currently stars Carolee Carmello, Judy McLane, Gina Ferrall, Andy Kelso, Ben Livingston, Pearce Bunting, and Christopher Shyer. A film version of the musical, starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, will be released on July 17.
