Ference Molnar's The Guardsman is wonderfully adapted by Scott Wentworth, Marion Adler and Craig Bohmler in this witty musical. Set in Vienna in the late 1800s, the story revolves around two tempestuous stars who find their love has grown tame after only six months of marriage. She grows restless, he gets jealous and, by intermission, he is disguised as a guardsman trying to seduce his own wife. Peter Amster directs.
