Fences Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Fences is written by August Wilson, who won critical acclaim and the Pulitzer Prize for his portrayal of Troy Mazson, a former Negro League baseball player who had to settle for work as a garbage man before the Major League color barrier was finally broken. His hard-working strength and pride support his family during the early days of the civil rights movement, but the changing times and his own unrealized potential make him distrust opportunities offered to his son.
