Synopsis

The Circle Goes Round is a performance benefit celebration of the current and former Dance Performance Workshop members. The performance features the current Advanced Dance Performance Workshop members ages 13-17 while highlighting the achievements of Performance Workshop graduates who are now BAX Alumni. Performances include selected repertoire from the Advanced DPW directed by Susan Cline Lucey and new work by BAX Alumni Rachel Arzoumanian-Cohen, Briana Carlson-Goodman, Paul and Lee Gargagliano, Zoe Klein, Rachel Lane, Kate Lieberman and Jesse Phillips-Fein. Proceeds go to Dani Nikas Scholarship Fund for Young Dancers developed in 2001 memory of former DPW director Dani Athena Nikas. The fund supports young people who are serious and committed to studying dance.
