Synopsis

Feinstein's at the Regency presents the nightclub debut of Tony Award winning Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell in "Love / Life. His show, featuring Musical Director Mike Renzi heading an all-star quartet, is a romantic evening of classic love songs including "Make Someone Happy," "How Long Has This Been Going On?" and "It's All Right With Me." The show will also include original arrangements by Mr. Mitchell.

BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL, dubbed "the last leading man" by the New York Times, enjoys a spectacular career that spans Tony Award winning performances on Broadway, a multitude of television and film appearances, and performing at our Nation's capital. His Broadway career includes the starring role of Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, for which he received a Tony Award nomination and the Helen Hayes Award, as well as Fred Graham/Petruchio in Kiss Me Kate, for which he won the 2000 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards. Other Broadway performances include Coalhouse Walker in Ragtime (Tony Award nomination), August Wilson's King Hedley II (Tony Award nomination), Kiss of the Spider Woman (Valentin), Jelly's Last Jam (replacing Gregory Hines), and David Merrick's Oh, Kay! His performance in Mail earned him the Theatre World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut.
