Synopsis

Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party is presented in rotating repertory with The Homecoming as part of the T. Schreiber Studio's Pinter Project. Revolutionary plays of their day, they remain timeless parts of the canon of great works for the theatre. These plays will take you on a journey of menace, betrayal, sexual longing, domination, control, and primordial passions. The Homecoming offers a darkly comedic view of feminine power, while The Birthday Party explores the destruction of the artist by powerful authoritarian figures. Both shows are directed by Terry Schreiber.
