Text fights with time, dance attempts to claim space, and characters emerge, already failing in tiny life (a conversion) by Allison Farrow. In Drinking the Kool-Aid, Fernando Maneca mixes mundane action, stories from Portugal during the Salazar regime, parodies of infomercials and news media, classic television commercials and a wry sense of humor.
