The T. Schreiber Studio presents Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, Jane Chambers' zesty and heartfelt landmark lesbian play. The story evolves around eight women dealing with issues of love, romance, monogamy, infidelity and family. When the group is threatened by losing one of their own, they must call upon a strong foundation of love and support to sustain them in the difficult times. Pamela Scott directs.
Chambers wrote Last Summer at Bluefish Cove in 1980 for The Glines First Gay American Arts Festival. Audiences and critical raves soon moved this ground-breaking play to Off-Broadway. This year is the 25th anniversary of that move.
