Synopsis
Outlaugh Productions presents the first U.S. Gay Comedy Festival EVER -- Outlaugh 2005. Outlaugh2005 brings together gay comedy performers from all over the world in a multi-night roster the likes of which have never been seen out before! Headlining Outlaugh is the inimitable Lea DeLaria. Also scheduled to appear are The Gay Mafia, Ant, Bob Smith, The Nellie Olesons, Page Hurwitz, Jason Dudey, Jerry Calumn and many others! In addition to the performers, there are many special surprises and guests including the Amazing Race's openly gay winner Reichen! This is the first year of what is expected to become an expanding annual event based in Los Angeles and hosted by Los Angeles-based comedy troupe, The Gay Mafia.
A portion of the opening night proceeds go to benefit LA Shanti, a volunteer organization supporting people facing life-threatening illnesses.
