Synopsis

First presented by Joseph Papp at the New York Shakespeare Festival, Christopher Durang's The Marriage of Bette and Boo is considered by many to be the award-winning playwright's best play. A wicked satire in 33 quick scenes, this admittedly autobiographical play skewers the vanities, inanities, and insanities of family life.
