Synopsis


10 x Ten is ten short plays by ten different authors, each about ten minutes in length. With set changes and an intermission, it's a fast-moving evening. The plays include:

Alterations by Summer Sinclair. Chad and Rayna get married on Halloween. Their wedding night keeps getting interrupted. Stephen Whittaker directs.

Red State by Erin Shull. Elizabeth, an underemployed actress, has moved back home for awhile. She is unaware that the handsome new neighbor is more attracted to her mom. Stephen Whittaker directs.

Stolen Cheese by Anthony Q. Farrell. An aging, forgetful woman can't remember where she left her cheese sandwich, and her family will suffer for it. Ben Kunsler directs.

Confronting Lucas by Adam Briggs. James, lightsaber in hand, is going to take George to task for writing crappy scripts for the new trilogy. Ben Kunsler directs.

David by Jill Charlotte Thomas. David is a traumatized, middle-aged man with intimacy issues. The woman he's been sent to may know just how to deal with him. L. Flint Esquerra directs.

Fall by Joe Luis Cedillo. A man who has pursued success has been pushed to the edge. L. Flint Esquerra directs.

Love, Heather by James Gilbert. A man tries to fulfill the multiple demands of the woman for whom he has an erotic fixation. L. Flint Esquerra directs.

The Farewell Party by Craig Wadlin. A woman about to marry and move to Italy has unsettling second thoughts. Paul Koslo directs.

Diaries of a Bathroom Attendant by Lucy Bansley. The ladies' room at a hot nightclub is a strange world unto itself. The kind-hearted attendant has seen it all and understands much. Paul Koslo directs.

Safer by E. Rudnick. A security nightmare takes place at LAX. Paul Koslo directs.
