In More Than Naked, Jayne Amelia Larson rips, roars, and rollicks her way through a 70-minute solo piece exploring the feeling of being alone even in the center of a crowd. Ms. Larson portrays a variety of male and female characters in her narrative, including: a bartender in a nightclub, a volunteer at a VA hospital (who will learn a valuable lesson from a man she meets there), traumatized veterans, an older couple who have lost dear ones to war, a fire-and-brimstone preacher, mob-connected thugs, a woman who stutters her way into a broken relationship, a poetry lover, a woman driven to visit her childhood home, and more.
