Synopsis


Franklin Furnace, the internationally celebrated incubator of the avant-garde, presents The History of the Future, a one night only bash to celebrate its 30 years of fostering, preserving, and proselytizing visionary art.

Co-curated by C. Carr, RoseLee Goldberg, and Martha Wilson, the evening will feature performances by Karen Finley, Tom Murrin, Ishmael Houston-Jones, Mr. Murray Hill, Baby Ikki, and Julie Atlas Muz, and include video of performance works by Eric Bogosian, William Wegman, Holly Hughes, Tim Miller, and John Jesurun.
