Synopsis

An unheard mix of folk, jazz and pop, Andy Guthrie's music is at the same time passionate and controlled, sincere and sophisticated, vibrant and cynical. Guthrie is described by NPR's All Songs Considered and World Cafe as "a singer songwriter with a remarkable voice transcending the traditional mold" and his latest album Milk and Waste as a "brightly textured collection of jazzy pop tunes, gorgeous and beautifully produced, with wonderful harmonies and instrumentation". He will be performing solo this evening on the piano and guitar.
