In Jonathan Yukich's new surreal comedy, American Midget, Albert is a typical, full-sized man who, after a series of significant events in his life, is visited by a mysterious agent who conspicuously refers to him as a "midget." As the play progresses, Albert starts to believe that he truly is a midget. Full of outlandish characters, the play is a fast-paced ride that primarily centers on Albert's naïve journey through Americana and his struggle to distinguish reality from delusion in a world far more peculiar, but only slightly more absurd, than our own. Ben Kusler directs.
The cast includes Eric Hailey, Parisa Fahkri, Dion Jackson, Tom Walz, Paige White, Piper Gunnarson and Derrick Cole.
