Brooklyn Center presents Julio Bocca's farewell tour with his beloved dance company, Ballet Argentino, in a performance of their groundbreaking work Boccatango. Honored by The New York Times in 1987 as "Dancer of the Year," Bocca recently retired after almost two decades as Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre, making Boccatango the last remaining opportunity for audiences to see this legend in action, setting the stage on fire as he performs the most passionate of all dances - the Tango.
