Gay Grimms Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Gay Grimms, a finalist in the Stages 2007 competition in Chicago and 2006 The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center Music Theatre Conference, is a new musical about Leon and Jackie, the Cousins Grimm, adapting their ancestors' beloved stories and adding a queer sensibility to them. Jackie is a celebrated lesbian composer/solo artist. Leon asks her to work with him and she impulsively agrees. Strange and magical things begin to happen as their versions of the tales come to life; including a mysterious and surprising twist to their creative collaboration.
Gay Grimms is presented as part of The Philadelphia Gay & Lesbian Theatre Festival.
