Swashbuckling adventure, a few mistaken identities, and a romance to cheer for are at the heart of this adaptation of a 17th century Montfleury masterpiece by acclaimed playwright John Strand. Julie is mercilessly abandoned by her husband when he suspects her of infidelity. Confused, lost, and ready for revenge, Julie returns to town to confront her spouse, disguised as a young cavalier. When she learns he is courting a new bride, she vaults into the romance as a rival suitor for the young woman's hand. Throw in a crazed Spanish Conquistador, some rollicking swordfights, and an execution and you have all the ingredients for a fabulous holiday adventure!
