Synopsis

What happens when your destiny is argued by psychics, fortunetellers, your astrological chart and the input of psychoanalysts?

Thick Description, along with composers like Beth Custer, Will Hammond and Pamela Z, begin their 20th anniversary year with the world premiere of Ten Dollar Destiny, an eye-popping song cycle of Julie Queen's "perceived" future through an Alice in Wonderland-like approach, using a giant pop-up book set, 3D film projections, and a stunning variety of musical styles.
