The 23rd Annual Rising Stars performance is themed The Creation of Hope. The program features drama, jazz, classical, rock and big band music, ballet, hip-hop and modern dance, spoken word and even contortion all ingeniously woven together by Director, Lee Lobenhofer.
Artistic Director is Sandy Faison and Actress/Dancer Rachel Ticotin is this year's Choreographic Consultant. Rising Stars is a production of the La Guardia High School Parents Association. La Guardia, a.k.a "The Fame School" boasts graduates such as Adrian Grenier
(Entourage) and Adrien Brody (The Pianist)and current student broadway star Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening).
