Synopsis

How to be a Doll combines dance, movement, and spoken word poetry while focusing on issues of identity. It speaks of women with muffled voices, of their rich inner lives and their silence on the outside. It is about the struggle between what she should be and what she wants to be and the failure to find the balance, reacting against her mother and the fear of reacting at all.
