Synopsis:
The ONLY show of its kind, Above the Belt presents aerial artists from the U.S., Canada and Europe performing on a trapeze, hoops, fabric, and rope. New work, signature pieces, works-in-progress, traditional circus, and experimental aerial dance are all showcased in this unique evening with an ever-changing line-up of artists. Enjoy risky, powerful, often astonishing work all performed above the ground in an intimate theatre and bar.

Featured in New York Magazine and Spectacle (the circus trade magazine) the show began as a monthly series at The Belt in November 2005 and then moved into the much larger Zipper Theater due to its success.
