Synopsis:
Lotus Music & Dance is pleased to present Dancing Across Cultural Borders, a five-day journey in the multicultural performing arts at Chelsea's Hudson Guild Theater. This unique series of performances feature a total of seventeen varieties of world dance and music presented by Lotus master teachers and their students including: Bharata Natyam, Odissi, Manipuri and Kathak (classical Indian dance forms), Traditional Korean Court and Ritual Dance, Middle Eastern Folk and Fusion, Flamenco, Hula Dance and Ukelele Jam, Tahitian Dance, Javanese inspired Butoh (modern Japanese performance), Bhangra, Bollywood and Bulgarian, Peruvian, Bengali and Rajasthani Folk Dances.
