Synopsis

LAByrinth presents a Benefit Reading with the original cast of Stephen Adly Guirgis's award-winning play, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman. "Written in fire," this event is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness the reunion of the team which brought to life the "fire-breathing? visceral energy" of a now-classic play; LAByrinth's production won the Company acclaim as "the most exciting troupe in the city" (The New York Times).

"Stunningly well-written? It is impossible to praise the electrifying performances in Philip Seymour Hoffman's remorselessly intense production too highly. The theatrical event of the year" (The Daily Telegraph, London, 2001).

VIP Tickets including the reception hosted by John Patrick Shanley are available from LAByrinth at 212 513 1014.
