Since 2004, Green Light has been presenting our annual New Light Series to celebrate the work of women theatre artists. New Light is a performance of short theatrical pieces that are created by women. Our ensemble of women theatre artists' works together to develop performances that capture their honesty, creativity, spirit and courage. . Green Light invites all women to participate in New Light. We do not judge the performers or their ideas, experiences or backgrounds. Green Light believes in the importance of a place where women can perform uncensored- where women have the freedom to be fearless. We give New Light as that place. New Light 2008 features the contributions over thirty local women theatre artists: Paula Diehl, Sheila McDonald, Jennifer Brown, Kristi Good, April Shaw, Aisha Nicole Anderson, Erika Mapes, Susan Daugherty, Alana Gerlach, Andrea Bryant, Jennifer Brown, Gina Martino, Mary Ellen Cosaboon, Gina Martinelli, Jana Nogowski, Vivian Appler, Jackie Ruggiero Jacobson, Hannah Tsapatoris Macleod, Alexandria Dilks Pandola, Makaria Tsapatoris, Diana Cavallo, Linda Newsted, Rowen Haigh, Gillienne Nadeau, Ruchama Bilenky, LizZ, Nicole Mancino, Lori-Nan Engler, Gabrielle Corsaro, Pauline Borkon, Gerre Garrett, Katie Driscoll and Ruth Wells Fischer.
