Laramie Project, The

Synopsis:
The Denver Theatre Company in association with Moisés Kaufman's Tectonic Theatre Project will present the World Premiere of Mr. Kaufman's play. Following the murder of Matthew Shephard, the playwright and members of his company conducted over 200 intensely personal interviews with citizens of Laramie, Wyoming. This material serves as the basis of the play which will be developed and performed in Denver. Mr. Kaufman's other works include GROSS INDECENCY: THE THREE TRIALS OF OSCAR WILDE.

Opening before its New York run, THE LARAMIE PROJECT will replace BYRD'S BOY.
