Synopsis:
The 2005 Women's Performance Festival features two weeks of theater, dance and performance work including cherries falling from the sky, the new rules of sexual fluidity, ballroom dance lessons in Bayside, Queens and much, much more. Also join a special adult workshop Gathering directed by acclaimed artist and choreographer Marlies Yearby. The Women's Performance Festival at BAX is a unique opportunity to see the work of women artists in the context of each other's work. The artists are straight, gay, of all races, ages and disciplines.
