Synopsis:
Artistic Director Nora Hussey directs Pride's Crossing, a 1997 Pulitzer Prize finalist and winner of the 1998 New York Drama Critic Award for Best Play. This drama by Tina Howe uses wit and imagination to make a subtle social statement about the status of women in the early part of the 20th century. We glimpse various stages of the life of Mabel Tidings Bigelow (portrayed by Alicia Kahn), the first woman to swim the English Channel.
