Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell has been praised as "the last leading man" by The New York Times. From portraying Coalhouse Walker Jr. in Ragtime, to Petruchio in Kiss Me, Kate, to the Demon Barber of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd as part of the Kennedy Center's Sondheim Celebration in 2002, he is a stage talent unlike any other.
