Synopsis:
The post-World War II hey-day of the great Jewish novelists and the Partisan Review crowd may be over, but later generations of writers are examining the representation of Jewish communities in Brooklyn and elsewhere in new and interesting ways. Nathan Englander, author of the short story collection For the Relief of Unbearable Urges, Myla Goldberg, The Bee Season and Wickett's Remedy, and Alice Mattison, The Wedding of the Two-Headed Woman and In Case We're Seperated: Connected Stories, are the panelists and readers.
