This show is part of the South Florida Theatre Festival Festival.

Synopsis:
Footloose, the Musical follows rebel Ren McCormack as he moves to a small town where dancing is banned. Shocked by the town's rules, Ren goes toe-to-toe with the local preacher who is exercising control over the town's youth. The Reverend's rebellious daughter shares Ren's frustrations and together they work to lift the ban. Ren's appeal to the preacher, and the town, to accept dancing is packed with passion and exuberance. Footloose, the Musical reminds the young, and the young-at-heart, that everyone needs to take some time to cut loose and kick off their Sunday shoes.
