Hailed by the NY Times as "a pioneer in world music" Adam Rudolph's expansive vision of musical expression cannot even be limited by a phrase as broad as that. Adam Rudolph first achieved international recognition through his long associations with two of the most musically diverse contemporary masters - the late, iconoclastic trumpeter Don Cherry and the legendary multi-reedist Yusef Lateef. His experience growing up through the Blues world has resulted in a most singular approach to the rich tapestry of contemporary music drawn from ancient traditions.
