Synopsis:
T. Schreiber Studio presents the US Premiere of Shauna Kanter's The Gift. Based on a true story, the production is a haunting music theatre piece that travels back and forth between 1939 and 1965. An ensemble, stylized voice-and-movement piece, The Gift utilizes floor-to-ceiling archival footage and live original music to tell the story a young American whose courage and cowardice are revealed as he attempts to rescue a single Jewish family out of Nazi Germany.
