Synopsis:
The human rights violations that continue today in Iran and Yugoslavia are echoed in the award-winning drama Days and Nights Within by Ellen McLaughlin. Based on the autobiographical account of Erica Wallach in Light at Midnight, the play follows the post-World War II homecoming of a young woman named Elsa, imprisoned by the East German government for espionage.
