Synopsis:
Comedienne Julie Halston serves as mistress of ceremonies for the 2001 MAC Awards. Singing legend Rosemary Clooney receives the Lifetime Achievement Award at the event, and over 100 vocalists, comedian, jazz performers, songwriters, original revues, and musical directors receive nominations for outstanding performances and recordings. Presenters and performers include Cy Coleman, Michelle Lee, Margaret Whiting, Mario Cantone, Sam Harris, Carol Woods, Mary Cleere Haran, Eric Comstock, Baby Jane Dexter, Julie Gold, and Erv Raible.
