The Spiegeltent pavilions were used as traveling dance halls and wine tasting marquees
since the early 20th century. The intricate, historic design consists of woven balloon
canopies, a circular teak dance floor, stained cut glass windows, intimate booths, an ornate
bar, beveled mirror columns and a magnificent Art Nouveau chandelier at its breathtaking
center.
There are only a handful of these and legendary "tents of mirrors" left in the world. An
awesome sight of wood, mirrors, canvas, leaded glass and velvet and brocade details, each
has its own personality and style offering a unique entertainment experience for audiences.
The venue capacity of the SPIEGELTENT is 400 standing, 320 seated, and 300 with full
table and chair cabaret seating. The quick construction of the SPIEGELTENT is a
fascinating aspect in and of itself: this solid, sturdy construction is built by just three workers
within a 24-hour period, and is built from the inside out by hand and without nails.
